Many first time visitors to Luxor think that facilities on the West Bank are fairly limited. However, there are excellent restaurants, many food shops,bakeries, pharmacies, internet cafes, and several clothes shops. As these shops cater for the local people, you will find that generally prices are cheaper on the West Bank than on the East.
